How the Auto-label Policy for Cloudy Attachments Works

Cloudy attachments are links to files sent in messages. An auto-label policy can capture copies of cloudy attachments and make them available for eDiscovery. Sounds good, but you need Office 365 E5 or above licenses to use an auto-label policy and Purview eDiscovery (premium). Even so, it’s a nice example of applying technology to solve a problem, even if it does use up some valuable SharePoint Online storage quota.

The Return of The Experts Conference (TEC)

A couple of weeks ago, I had the enjoyable experience of going to Charleston SC to present at the relaunched The Experts Conference (TEC). Niche Office 365 conferences seem to be quite the current trend and TEC is an excellent example of how small focused conferences are good to attend. You should consider it in 2021, which is the next time that TEC comes around.

A quick visit to Washington DC included speaking at AvePoint’s ShiftHappens conference and taping some videos about Office 365 for Petri.com. The conference was small enough to encourage real interaction between attendees and overall was a very enjoyable event.
